Securing Our Southern Border
Jocelyn Nungaray. Laken Riley. Rachel Morin. These and countless others across the United States have been taken from their families by dangerous illegal immigrants who never should have been in our country. As a member of the Texas House Appropriations Committee, I put the sovereignty of the Texas border above all else. While the Democrats and Moderate Republicans were trying to tear down Trump’s wall, I fought successfully to appropriate billions of dollars toward finishing the wall and investing in critical border security initiatives. I won’t stop fighting until Congress acts to keep every American safe from the human traffickers, cartels, and dangerous criminals attempting to cross our Southern Border.
Fighting Liberal Indoctrination
As President Ronald Reagan warned, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” That’s why it is critical we teach the next generation how to think, not what to think. I led the charge in the Texas House to eliminate Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) from public classrooms and universities. Radical liberal ideology doesn’t belong in our classrooms, and I will fight to ensure our public schools are places of learning, not bootcamps for the next generation of liberal activists.
Our National Security
Protecting American citizens and interests is paramount. As a member of the Texas House, I worked to ensure China, Iran, and other foreign adversaries couldn’t own Texas land. American citizens, security, and sovereignty must come first. I’ll work with President Trump to advance peace through strength, defend our allies like Israel, and make sure every dollar spent abroad serves the interests of the American people.
Defending Our 2nd Amendment Right
Texans know better than most what it means to keep and bear arms. I will protect every American’s right to defend themselves, their families, and their property. Red flag laws and other unlawful restrictions on our constitutional rights have no place in America. In Texas, I have been a consistent and staunch defender of our second amendment rights, and that will continue in Congress.
Back the Blue
Backing the blue means standing with those who put their lives on the line daily to protect us, often in the face of immense challenges. Recognizing the growing need for preparedness, I worked tirelessly to secure $27 million in funding for an advanced active shooter training facility. My commitment to this initiative reflects my deep respect for the sacrifices made by law enforcement and my determination to provide them with the resources they need to succeed.
Taxes and Tariffs: Putting Americans First
A strong America doesn’t outsource its strength. For decades, globalist trade policies have hollowed out our manufacturing base and left American workers at the mercy of foreign governments – especially China. I support using strategic tariffs to level the playing field, bring critical industries back home, and protect American sovereignty. We must stand up to foreign adversaries, secure our economic future, and put America first.
Supporting Our Military and Veterans
National defense is a core constitutional responsibility, and that starts with taking care of the men and women who wear the uniform. Our military needs to be strong, well-equipped and laser-focused on defending America and deterring our enemies. When American heroes come home, we must honor their sacrifices. From reforming the VA to cutting red tape on benefits, I will fight to make sure no veteran is left behind, especially when it comes to mental health, housing, and job opportunities.
Energy Independence
Energy independence is critical to America’s future, economically and strategically. Representing parts of both Harris and Montgomery Counties, I understand the vital role Texas oil and gas plays in powering our entire nation. We must expand domestic production and ensure we never depend on foreign nations for fuel. Energy security starts right here in Texas, and I will protect it.
Making America Healthy Again
We must shift away from a system driven by pharmaceutical profits and government overreach and toward one that empowers individuals to take charge of their own health. During my time in the Texas House, we banned government vaccine mandates and gave power back to the people. I will continue fighting for personal autonomy and responsibility in Congress.
